Chet Nielsen

Chet Nielsen is an entrepreneur, consultant, and former senior CIA officer and brings a truly unique blend of federal government and private industry experience to True North and its clients.

In 2016, Chet founded Bespoke Solutions Consulting and has advised companies ranging in size from Fortune 10 to seed-stage startups on issues of leadership, dynamic team formation, human capital maximization, and operations.

Prior to founding Bespoke, Chet spent a decade working undercover as a Case Officer in the CIA’s National Clandestine Service. Before being recruited by the CIA, Chet worked as a management consultant with SAIC and served as a senior legislative assistant to the former House Judiciary Chairman, James Sensenbrenner.

Chet earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, his law degree from the University of Kentucky, and Chief of Staff Executive leadership certification from the McChrystal Group Academy. In addition to his consulting work, Chet is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and an active skydiver with a Class A license.
