Harbor to the Bay
True North is proud to be a sponsor of “Harbor to the Bay,” a one-day 125-mile bike ride that raises money for medical needs of the LGBQT+ community. True North’s founder has completed this ride in each of the last three years.
With the new treatment protocols, HIV/AIDS is not an immediate death sentence. But so much more still needs to be done for LGBQT+ health: education in safe practices for people to avoid the illness; educating doctors and other medical professionals to deliver medical care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the community; providing support for patients; and even providing emotional support for young people in their explorations. H2B raises funds for organizations that do all of that.
