Warren Green is a founder of True North Advisors Group. He has more than 30 years of experience in initiating, structuring, negotiating, and closing successful merger and acquisition and financing transactions for both buyers and sellers, creating joint ventures, and developing and executing business strategies for emerging growth companies.
Warren has experience with a wide range of hi-tech, low-tech, no-tech and service businesses. In addition to domestic deals, he has closed transactions for clients in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Bermuda, France, and South Korea. Warren has presented seminars to entrepreneurs and other professionals on mergers and acquisitions, negotiation techniques, and crisis management.
Prior to working in investment banking, Warren was a partner and chairman of the mergers and acquisitions group at the Boston law firm of Goldstein & Manello.
Warren is a graduate of Vassar College and Boston University School of Law. He was a reporter for The New York Times for four years, and had articles published in the national, metropolitan, Sunday Business, and Sunday Travel sections. Warren is active in several charities. He served on the board of directors of the Hillel Foundation at Boston University for over ten years, and as chairman for four. He is an avid long-distance cyclist, and has participated in the Pan Mass Challenge for 30 years, in connection with which he organized a team of riders that raised over $1 million for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
