Martha’s Vineyard Film Society
The Martha's Vineyard Film Society operates year round the only art house and independent theater on Martha's Vineyard. In addition, it operates two historic commercial theaters during the extended summer. The Society holds several film festivals during the year and collaborates with a number of other charitable organizations on the Island.
True North Executive-in-Residence Dan Pfau was instrumental in raising the funds to build the theater, and was an original member of the Board of Trustees. Be sure to visit the bathrooms. They are named the Dan and Betsy, after Dan and his wife.
